If you are not sure if you are in the right job then this can lead you to experiencing a lot of self-doubt. You may even find that you are not happy with the situation that you are in and you may even find it hard to settle down as well. The problem is that so many people quit their jobs every single day because they think that it is the best decision. They feel as though they would be happier if they had another job or they may feel as though their job is bringing them down. This is not always the case, and sometimes quitting your job may be a huge mistake.

Time Flies

If you find that you are checking your watch, only to think that time is flying by then this is a clear sign that you are in the right job. You are probably getting plenty done and you may even feel as though there is just not enough time in the day to accomplish everything you want. If this sounds like you then there is a high chance that you are in the right job. If you get to the point where the days start to drag or if you feel as though you are constantly checking your watch only to find that it is the same time as it was before then this is an indicator that you are not suited to this type of work.

You Don’t Need Coffee

Sure, you may want to pick up a coffee on your way to work and this is completely normal. If you don’t need a coffee to stay awake however then this is a sign that you are certainly in the right job. Your energy will probably come from the fact that you are excited about what you have to do in the day and you will probably be running on adrenaline regarding the day ahead. This is a good thing because it means that you are focused and it also means that you are driven. If you need that cup of coffee to get you through the day however then this is a sign that things are not as good as they could be so you may want to start looking out for another position. Of course, if you want to try something completely different then you may even want to look into civil service apprenticeships with Arch Apprentices to see if they can help you out.

Challenging Yourself

If you are able to push yourself and even challenge yourself on a day to day basis then you will be working in an organisation that doesn’t punish you for every single mistake that you make. In fact, it is rather hard to find organisations like this so you are probably really lucky. It is good to be able to push yourself to take new risks and it is also good to push your limits so you can go that extra mile as well. If you are not able to do this then you will never be able to progress in your position.
