No matter where you stay in Bali, it’s pretty easy to find an Insta-worthy spot to keep your feed nice and dreamy. Check out the list below for a few recommendations, but don’t be afraid to venture, there are more hidden gems to discover in Bali!
1. Pura Lempuyang
If you have been reading Bali travel guides or following bloggers who have been to Bali, you’ll most likely have seen this before. Known as “Bali’s Gateway to Heaven”, Pura Lempuyang is the oldest temple in Bali, sitting at the top of Bisbis Hill. To get to the gate, you will have to climb 1700 steps, but it’s worth every drop of sweat. On a clear day, you will see the majestic Mount Agung standing magnificently behind the gate! Your photos won’t require any edit or filter as the scenery is just so perfect. Unfortunately, this is a popular tourist attraction, so the queue is gonna be quite long.
2. Tegalalang Rice Paddy
Located in Ubud, Tegalalang is easily accessible and makes a great day trip location. You will get to enjoy fresh, cooling air as you walk through the mesmerising emerald field. Ubud is also the center for art and craft in Bali, so you can check out some authentic local souvenirs after the visit.

3. Tegal Wangi Beach
You will find Tegal Wangi Beach in Jimbaran in the South of Bali. It’s a lovely white sandy beach that has many Insta-worthy angles. First, you will find limestone rocks and caves that look absolutely stunning. The landscape is even more magical during the twilight hours. But that’s not all. At Tegal Wangi Beach, you will be able to enjoy a natural jacuzzi with an ocean vista right in front of your rights. At low tide, find yourself a natural pool and wait for the waves to roll in, filling your natural tub. It’s a unique experience that’s enjoyable and looks great on photo at the same time.
4. Tukad Cepung Waterfall
There are many waterfalls in Bali, but Tukad Cepung is one of the most photogenic ones. Of course, it’s getting more and more popular amongst tourists and Instagrammers. From the entrance, you will need to descend the stairs to reach the cave where you will find the waterfall. The charm of Tukad Cepung is that you can see sunlight peeking through the leaves, creating natural beams into the cave – like a scene from a fairy tale.

5. Chic cafes in Seminyak and Canggu
You don’t really have to travel far or take day trips to find your perfect backdrop. Many cafes in Seminyak and Canggu boasts extremely stylish decor and meals that are both mouth-watering and Instagrammable. I’m talking about Kynd Community, Nalu Bowls, Sea Circus, Revolver Cafe, just to name a few. Visiting one of these cafes has become a must-do on any Bali itinerary, and that’s totally understandable.
