The British Museum
Located in the Bloomsbury area of London, the British Museum is dedicated to human history. There are sections for art, culture, and general history, and the extensive collection that it holds makes it a treasure. With its collection of over eight million works, it is the largest in the world, which is why it’s not something that should be missed. People spend all day here and still don’t see all that there is on offer, which is why you often find people coming back for a second time.

London Eye
Everyone has heard of the London Eye, and it is truly one of the most breathtaking things that you can experience. Being up high like that and getting a wonderful view of London is incredible, and definitely something that you do not want to miss before you leave London. The giant ferris wheel is huge, and has enclosed spaces for you to ride in. For a long time people have used this as a romantic spot for dates, proposals, first kisses and so much more, so if you’re looking for something romantic to do while you are here, then this is an option for you to consider.
Even if you are afraid of heights, you should be okay on the London Eye as you are in an enclosed space so there is no way for you to fall out. It is one of the most popular attractions, so it’s worth taking a look at what all of the fuss is about.
Natural History Museum
Another museum, but another fantastic one. People typically go to one or the other, but some people choose both. You might want to visit this museum on one trip and the British Museum on another trip, but it’s entirely up to you. The Natural History museum is one of many around the world, however London is known for having the greatest, so it’s worth thinking about. The admission is free, but you may be charged if you want to go to a specific exhibition or event that is taking place.
Check Out Big Ben
Finally, what would this list be if we did not mention Big Ben here? To some people it’s just a big clock, but it’s symbolic more than anything else. It is a symbol of England, it is a point of pride for the British, and it’s a sight that you can tick off of the list. While it might just be a big clock, it’s bigger than you would expect. Even though you know it’s massive, you can’t really appreciate it fully until you have seen it in real life.
